No. This is an independent fan project. Dressmaker is developed by Cozy Lives and published by Free Lives, and all game-related trademarks belong to their respective owners. We just like sewing virtual dresses.

Where does the commission data come from?

Requirement tables are transcribed from published character request guides and cross-checked across two independent walkthroughs. Pattern and fabric suggestions come from a full recorded playthrough of all 54 listed commissions and endings. Sources are listed on every commission page.

Question 4

What does a cap like 'Cute ≤ 20' mean?

A hard ceiling. The dress must reach the listed minimums while keeping capped attributes at or under the limit. Stacking extra cute fabrics on Chilly Overtime is the classic way to fail it.

Why does Not Haughty say Quality ≤ 70?

Accepted Answer

That brief is a trap written into the game: the quality requirement is a maximum, not a minimum. Sew competently but deliberately imperfectly — do not push craftsmanship past 70.

The budget number — is that what I can spend?

It is the customer's allowance for materials. Fabric, trim and accessories all draw from it. Spend less than the budget and the difference is your margin.

Why do some pages show no fabric prices or attribute values?

Because we do not invent numbers. Fabric, pattern and accessory stats are being measured in-game and go live only after verification. Until then the database pages list real item names with the measurement status shown openly.

How many commissions are there?

We track 88 entries: 77 story commissions across ten named clients, one gift commission per client, and the free-form finale, Peerless Dressmaker.

What are gift commissions?

Each of the ten clients has one 'A gift for …' request alongside their story line. They have their own requirements and budgets and count toward the character's completion achievement.

How do the character achievements work?

Accepted Answer

Ten Steam achievements each ask you to complete all major commissions for one client — for example Caw Evermore for Alice or G.O.A.T. for Marie. Our achievements page maps every public condition and links the matching client arc.

Some achievements have no unlock condition listed. Why?

Steam hides the criteria for 16 of the 32 achievements. We transcribe the public names but do not guess at hidden triggers — progress the story and recheck your Steam list.

Can I use your builds and still play my own way?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Commissions never have one mandatory dress. Treat the builds here as a passing baseline, then swap in fabrics you already own — the requirements table tells you exactly how much room you have.
